Talladega - Memorial services for Wanda Jean Hayes, 77, will be at 10:30 AM, Friday, July 12, 2019, at Episcopal Church of the Messiah in Heflin, AL.
Wanda Jean Furgerson Hayes died June 28, 2019. She was born on April 12, 1942. Wanda was the daughter of the late Hubert and Arrie Furgerson. Wanda is survived by her sister, Judy(Max) Wade of Corinth, GA.; her grandsons, Cody(Laura) Burton of Fruithurst, AL., Tyler Hayes, Heflin, AL.; son-in-law, Bill Burton, step daughters, Megan Bergeron and Kerrianne Mosley.
Wanda is preceded in death by her daughter; Teena Burton, son; Terrance Hayes, husband, Hollis Hayes and husband, Rabon Mosley, and sister, Vivian Furgerson.
She was a faithful member of The Episcopal Church of the Messiah, Pilot Club, and Palladian. Wanda worked for the Cleburne County Board of Education for many years. She also worked with the family business, Hayes Clearing.
