My Aunt Veronica was one of the most courageous women I have known. She had a contagious laughter and love for those near her glowed. I remember when I was very young she had a 1956 Chevy, and would take me to the latest Elvis movie in downtown Anniston. After the movie she would take me to the Dairy Queen on South Noble. She was always a friend more than an Aunt. Honesty was a given for her, and respect for all people no matter their lot in life. She is now with all of our incredible family that has passed on before her. I will miss her. Rhonda Stormes Dowie
