Heflin - Thomas(Tommy) Varon Moore, 78, died Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Residence.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM on Friday, December 14, 2018, at Chulafinnee Baptist Church with the Jerry Barker and Rev. Samuel Ball, officiating. Burial will follow in Chulafinnee Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, December 14, 2018 from 11:30 PM until 12:30 PM at Chulafinnee Baptist Church. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include:
Wife - Mary Evans Moore, Heflin, AL
Son - Patrick Moore, Heflin, AL
Sister - Mary Ethel Faulk, Oxford, AL
Grandchild - Tyler(Amber) Moore
Grandchild - Brittany Moore
Great Grand Child - Autumn Moore
Pallbearers will be: Patrick Moore, Derrick White, Barry Gardner, Tyler Moore, Mike Harris, and John Crosby.
Tommy was a lifelong resident of Cleburne County and loved his family and loved building. He built Moore's Construction to a successful business for 50 years. Tommy loved to hunt and fish. Tommy was a member of Chulafinnee Baptist Church and was a Veteran of the Army National Guard. Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Aaron Jefferson Moore, mother Nancy Clyde Moore, sister, Katie Moore Turner, brothers, Curtis Brandon Moore and Cletus Moore and nephew, Jeff Moore.
