Ruth was a native of West VA and resident of Cleburne County for the past 36 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Gentry Sr. Our Mom was the most amazing woman. She loved her family and she was always there for us no matter how far she had to travel to get to us. She was our best friend, and our all around go to person. We couldn't have asked for a better person to be our mom and nana. We are the lucky ones to have had her.

Michele, Christina, Tammy & David,

Years ago our lives were very entwined. The result of that allowed your mother to leave deep grooves of her love engrained on my heart. She’s part of the fiber of who I am. I thank you for sharing her with me and loving her so well, like it’s clear that you do. Sje loved you all too... very very much. She is a magnificent woman, mother & friend with a fierce fire for life that we were blessed to witness & be recipients. My heart is grieved for you in this sudden loss. I pray God comforts you at every turn and gives you His strength. My love to you, because I was honored to be loved by her.

With all my heart, Althea Sanders

Dear Michelle, Tina, Tammy, and David, We were so sorry to hear of your Moms passing. She has been such a dear friend to us. We have been close friends for over 40 some years. We have prayed together, sent cards and letters and phone calls. She was always an encouragement and inspiration to me. Your Mom was always such an awesome prayer warrior and could be called on at any time. She will be greatly missed. Her life touched so many people over the years. I know you are proud of her as she was proud of you kids, too.

Will continue to pray for you all as you walk thru this time together. Much love, Connie and Terry Ullom

Was so shocked to hear about your Mom. We would always sit and talk at convention and send cards to one another. She was a great friend. It's hard to believe that I've knew her for over 40 years. You all are in my prayers that the Spirit of the Lord will comfort you in at this time.

Much love in the Lord, Maribelle
