Oxford - Lilla Virginia McKleroy, 89, died Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 14, 2019, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Delong officiating. Burial will follow in Union Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, June 14, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Grandchild - Carolyn(Greg Prestridge) Caskie, Carrollton, GA
Great Grand Child - Cassell Browning, Carrollton, GA
Sister-in-law - Ester Laney, Ranburne, AL
Many Nieces and Nephews
Pallbearers will be: Brad Slaton, Brent Slaton, Brad Laney, Cassell Browning, Harry Slaton, Larry Slaton, and Jeremy Slaton. Honorary pallbearers will be: Ray Laney, Bobby Parker, and Greg Prestidge.
Mrs. McKleroy was employed by Lamar Plunket's for 30 years and Wakefield's for 15 years. Lilla was loved by everyone who knew her and will be missed by many. She was the best mother and maw maw and a very good cook. Mrs. McKleroy was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Parker, six brothers and sisters, first husband of 43 years, Leslie G. Slaton, second husband of 15 years, Frank McKleroy, infant daughter, Carolyn Slaton, and son-in-law, Frank Neri.
