Delta - Gary Wayne Lasseter, 62, died Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at Abel Baptist Church with the Dr. Pete Frames and Rev. Bruce Gilliland, officiating. Burial will follow in Abel Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 31, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. at Abel Baptist Church. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Stepson - Cody Couch, Delta, AL
Sister - Mary(Bruce) Gilliland, Attalla, AL
Sister - Patsy Cook, Chicago, IL
Grandchildren - 9
Pallbearers will be: Chase Couch, Cody Couch, Bryon Gilliland, Kevin Frames, Stone Hendrick, and Brian Lindley.
Mr. Lasseter was a native of Etowah County, he moved to Chicago during his teenage years, then returned to Alabama for the past 21 years in Cleburne County. Gary was a member of Abel Baptist Church. Gary was a Gentle Giant - a Big Guy with a Heart of Gold. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Nina Lasseter, brother, Richard Grady Lasseter, and brother in law, Bob Cook.
