Anniston - Doris Nell McWhorter, 73, died Monday, September 2, 2019 at Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 5, 2019, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Ginn and Rev. Chester Pesnell officiating. Burial will follow in Buttram Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 4, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Nephews.
Mrs. McWhorter was a member of Muscadine Baptist Church but attended Oak Ridge Baptist Church. She was a member of Steel Magnolias and Ft. McCellan Senior Citizen Group, Doris retired from Sewell Mfg. Co. in Heflin. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy McWhorter, parents, Travis Teague and Helen Jones, stepfather, William Jones and brother, Henry Jones.
